In today’s economically troubled and uncertain times, the most vulnerable among us – homeless families, teens without opportunities, and young children that are given up on before they’re ever given a chance – need your help more than ever before.
United Way of the Lowcountry provides the funding to help them.
But, we can’t do it without your help.
United
Way supports agencies on the front lines that provide critical, direct
assistance during the toughest of times. But these agencies have seen
their state and federal funding drastically reduced, while demands for
their services have increased by 40 percent.
The economic crisis
has impacted all of us, and some of United Way’s long-time contributors
are now coming to us for help instead of making their annual pledges.
Now is not the time to give less…we must unite and give more.
